 About Boulby
An unremarkable hamlet with a Potash mine coming down from the cliff. What is remarkable however is that this is the deepest mine shaft in Britain, completed in 1973. Boulby Cliff is the highest coastal cliff in the East of England going up to 666ft at the OS Trig point. There are terrific views to the quarries underneath where Jet Alum and Ironstone were mined.
