Comments by walkers who stayed at The Villa in Robin Hoods Bay on The Cleveland Way

Stayed on 19th May 2014 whilst on Cleveland Way walk.

Location at top of RHB with couple of reasonable pubs nearby for evening meal.
Good sized room with fine en-suite, comfortable bed. Good breakfast around rectangular table with chance to catch-up with other walkers.

Beautiful Victorian house and very warm welcome from Jane. Room was great, with recently installed en suite shower room which had been very well done. Great breakfast, with lots of choice. Excellent place to stay.

Beautifully decorated and elegant house, very clean, welcome bath and comfortable beds. Super breakfast, you could practically order anything and great choice of teas/coffee. A huge shared breakfast table with other walkers was a lovely experience. A great stay - recommended.

Lovely Victorian house, above the clifftop. Excellent meal at The Wayfarer, just down the street. Rustled up a lovely fresh fruit salad at short notice for breakfast. Only downside is that 45 is quite expensive for a single room (not ensuite).

After our failed reservation at the Wayfarer, we found accommodation here. We were not disappointed. Very nice room with good bath down the hall. Super breakfast and gracious host.

This is the most wonderful Victorian house, beautifully restored. Rooms are a good size and the bedlinen and towels are top quality. Jane gave us a great welcome. Breakfast even included fresh pineapple and mango and Greek yogurt: bliss for those of us who had eaten too many cooked breakfasts by day 14!

I give Jane high marks: good hospitality, good accomodations and good food. There were four of us finishing the C2C and we were all delighted with our stay. (My brother is a designer and he was very impressed with the decor. My feet were sore and I was impressed with the big bathtub.)

An excellent rest after completing the C2C superbly refurbished, first class breakfast, and fantastic baths to soak and ease the aches and pains. The Villa comes thoroughly recommended nothing too much trouble!

We undertook the walk in June 2004. The Villa is a beautiful and spotless home with an interesting history. The decoration and furniture creates a true Victorian atmosphere and is very well presented. Jane looked after us very well and we had a very comfortable stay after a long walk that day. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast prior to continuing the walk.
Highly recommended.

Mike and I managed the C2C in one week. But we needed TLC at the end, and Jane`s B7B was just right. Nice clean rooms, lovely bathtub (big thank you from the feet!) and best of all a superb full breakfast. You will not be disappointed.
