Excellent place to stay. Lovely rooms and even a little fenced off patio for our Dodgers. Food, service and staff couldn't have been better.

Belongs to the Olde English Inns chain of properties. Food was good, but service in the bar was disappointing. Room was tired but adequate. But overall the place was good value and served its purpose.

Not as charming as some of the other places we stayed but good location for us in Tim's of our hiking plan and convenient to have pub there, not have to look for food

This is a good hotel with young friendly staff. The room was well appointed and the bathroom was large with a great shower.
We were able to use the hotel's laundry facilities which was a bonus.
The village is small with no other eateries. The hotel is part of a chain and the food is

We had a good stay here in July 2009, it is off the trail, but we altered our route accordingly. They serve a great breakfast and worked out as the best value accommodation on the walk.

We stayed here in Sept 2007. They told us they were located on the Trail, however the hotel is 1/4 mile off the Trail. Management was very rude to us when we told them they should not tell hikers they are on the trail. The accomodations and food are over-priced and the food is poor.

We stayed here in September, 2007. A very nice place to stay, very easy to find, just off the trail 400 m up the hill on a a very busy. Very professionally run Inn. Room very nice and the food in the pub was very good as well.

Not the best of stays on the way. By far the priciest and the food was not to cheer about. Conveniently located just of the trail, as there is not a lot else in the area.

We stayed here during our walk in July.

The rooms (ours opened to the garden) were very nice, but a touch pricey. Garden wonderful. Food awful.
